Q

A

Why The Bamboo Manager Project

The answer can be found in part on the about us  page

Q

A

Why do you use the terms:  'mao jue' and 'kao jue'

The terms we originally referred to in our menu titles

These are the two main types of bamboo wood used for scaffolding structures.

--

Mao jue is used as the primary component of the scaffolding structures and is used to create the main & strongest - vertical and diagonal - parts of the structure.

Kao jue has a smaller diameter. It is used for these same areas but is more flexible and is used in other parts of the construction - platforms etc.

Traditionally bamboo was easy to source from regions such as the Xiaoxing area in Guangdong, China. However the supply there for instance is not as plentiful as it was - so like many other things, alternatives are now being sought. Just like in the delivery of education.
