Antonia Collins
founder
Antonia has been a professional Stage Manager for over 25 years working extensively in the UK and overseas. Originally starting as an Assistant Stage Manager in repertory theatre she then went on to specialise in opera production
In 2000 Antonia took up a lecturing role at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff UK. It was here that a long running relationship began with GDS and ETC to develop a new SM console and cue lights which have gone on to be installed across the world 'CueSystem'
In 2015 there was an opportunity to move to Asia for two years and take up the post of Head of Entertainment Technology, Management and Design at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
In 2018 Antonia was invited to create a new faculty post of Visiting Assistant Professor in Stage Management at Florida State University. Over the course of nine months Antonia was able to develop a Stage Management specialism for students on the BA Theatre Programme alongside overseeing twelve productions
In May 2019 Antonia happily returned to the UK to continue her career as a stage manager and educator
Since beginning to work in the education sector Antonia has combined teaching with professional practice working predominantly as a Production Stage Manager for gala dinners, one-off special events and awards ceremonies. Notable work includes: -
